AAMS Renews Safety Commitment to the International Helicopter Safety Team - (March 8, 2011)
The Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) is proud to announce a strong renewed commitment to the safety goals of the International Helicopter Safety Team (IHST).  Launched in 2005, this worldwide effort led by the IHST has been centered on uncovering the means to drive down the universal helicopter accident rate. Air-Medical Providers Rank First in Study Assessing Perceptions of Safety Culture Among EMS Agencies - (September 2, 2010)
Air-medical emergency medical services (EMS) agencies scored highest nearly across the board in perceived workplace safety culture when compared to other agency types, according to a survey sample of EMS agencies conducted by researchers at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine and funded in part through a MedEvac Foundation International grant.   (View complete release).
